The Ross Embrace Enteral Pump is a microprocessor (computer)-controlled pump that provides for accurate, controlled enteral feeding delivery in a safe, user-friendly system. It is a volumetric pump that uses a specially designed feeding set, which includes a cassette that delivers measured amounts of enteral product (1 to 500 mL/hr in 1-mL increments) and features automatic priming of pump set. It can be used in virtually any setting by pediatric and adult patients whenever accurate delivery of enteral nutrition liquids is required. Its small size and weight also make it a great choice for mobile tube-fed patients who take along their enteral pump.
