Terms of use

These terms govern your use of ShopMedRx and the services made available through it. Please read them carefully before creating an account or requesting care.

1. About ShopMedRx

ShopMedRx is a technology platform. ShopMedRx does not practice medicine, does not dispense medication, and does not provide medical advice. Clinical services are provided by licensed clinicians affiliated with independent professional entities, and medications are dispensed by independently owned and operated pharmacies. The decision to prescribe, or not to prescribe, rests solely with the treating licensed clinician.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, located in a state where services are offered, and able to enter into a binding agreement. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current health information. Withholding or misstating information may result in care being declined or your account being closed.

3. Not medical advice; no guarantee of treatment

Content on this site is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for a consultation with a licensed clinician. Submitting an intake form or payment authorization does not create a clinician-patient relationship and does not guarantee that any treatment will be prescribed. Individual results vary. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

4. Telehealth consent

Care may be delivered remotely through secure messaging, questionnaires, phone, or video. Before treatment begins, you must review and accept the telehealth informed consent of the professional entity providing your care.

5. Pharmacy partners

Prescriptions are dispensed by independently owned and operated pharmacies. ShopMedRx does not own or operate any pharmacy and does not compound medication. Our pharmacy partners are:

6. State coverage

Currently offering services in all 50 states plus Washington D.C. Some services may not be available in all 50 states or Washington D.C. Subject to change.

7. Payment authorization

By submitting your payment information, you authorize ShopMedRx and its payment processor to charge your payment method for the consultation, membership, and any medication or supply fees you select, including recurring charges at the interval disclosed at checkout, until you cancel. Charges continue on a recurring basis until cancellation. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.

8. Communication consent

By providing your phone number and email address, you consent to receive calls, text messages (including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system), and emails from ShopMedRx, its affiliated professional entities, and pharmacy partners regarding your care, orders, account, and service updates. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help; you may also email support@shopmedrx.com.

9. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are described in the Cancellation & Refund Policy available in the footer of this website and incorporated into these terms by reference.

10. Acceptable use and intellectual property

You may not misuse the platform, attempt to access another person's account or health information, scrape the site, or use it for any unlawful purpose. All site content, trademarks, and software are owned by ShopMedRx or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ShopMedRx is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised terms.
